Ceskomoravsky beton, a.s., is a member of the HeidelbergCement multinational group in the Czech Republic, involved with the market for construction materials in addition to the companies Českomoravský cement, a.s. and Ceskomoravske sterkovny, a.s. . It is a holding company that supplies ready-mixed concrete in a wide range of classes and types of hardness throughout the Czech Republic through its subsidiaries. At present it holds the leading position in the market. Its main production activity is supported by the production of prefabricates and by services that include pumping the concrete mix, testing and consultations in the area of concrete technologies.

The Ceskomoravsky beton group was established at the beginning of the 1990s with the launching of the operation of the first Chomutov concrete mixing plant under the TBG trademark. The market situation showed prospective opportunities in the development of the construction industry, which has stimulated the flow of capital into a number of important plants producing mixing concrete. The holding company aims to unify the technical standards and qualities of the services on offer within its subsidiaries.

In order to achieve and sustain top quality production and services, the quality control systems in compliance with CSN EN ISO 9001 standards have been introduced at individual concrete plants. These systems are certified by accredited authorities. The output quality of the entire product range is also regularly controlled and monitored in compliance with valid standards. The products on offer are issued certificates and statements certifying their compliance in accordance with Act no. 22/1997 Coll., and its related government ordinance no. 163/2002 Coll.
